Fitness Friendly Restaurant Review

While in Chicago, experience a blend of Tuscan and innovative northern Californian cuisine in understated elegance. It's Chicago's Caliterra Bar & Grille Restaurant located in the Wyndham Hotel. If you are watching your waistline, at Caliterra you can choose smaller portions of their appetizers, second courses and pasta dishes, which are made with the freshest of ingredients. You can have a wonderful gourmet meal without feeling over-stuffed.

Examples include crisp salad of watercress, shaved artichokes, and orange, the simplicity of angel hair pasta with fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil and reggiano cheese or a refreshing desert like the roasted apricot terrine made with layered almond cake, ginger Bavarian cream, almond frangipane and cardamon ice cream all made from scratch.

The seasonal menus are updated monthly so you can always look forward to new taste delicious creations from the Executive Chef Rick Gresh.
Prices are in the upper moderate range and by the way, the Chicago Tribune gave them three stars!
