Gifts Make Others Feel Special
by Randy J. Menvor

Gifts:  A Great Way To Show Your Care

We all like to receive gifts. Surprisingly enough, most of us also like to give gifts. Giving gifts gives us the feeling of doing something good. It makes us happy to see someone enjoy the fruits of our labor. And, as strange as it may sound,  giving gifts can be an emotional pick me up.

Everyone thinks of giving and receiving gifts during the holiday season. What about the rest of the year? Think about this for a moment. Whenever you give someone gifts, how many times do you see a frown? It doesn't happen. The person was happy to be remembered, and truly glad you took the time to buy gifts. This becomes even more apparent when there is no special day or event causing you to give gifts. What could be more delightful, than to realize someone is thinking of you? This concept works wonders for the giver and the receiver.

It really is not about the price of gifts. Regardless of cost, gifts have hidden value that cannot be bought. Gifts are a wonderful way to bond a relationship. Family, friend, or significant other, special unexpected gifts enrich and promote growth in a relationship.

It really is not about the price of gifts. Regardless of cost, gifts have hidden value that cannot be bought.

You don't have to buy a gift for your partner or loved one every day as this would be both very expensive also a little habitual and boring. Gift giving should be the element of surprise.

The concept of giving gifts works wonderfully in the area of marriage. Especially if it seems the honeymoon is over. Try it and you'll see what I mean. Go today and purchase something inexpensive for your spouse. Wrap it and attach a note, "Thinking of my special" or whatever you feel you want to say. After the initial shock, you'll be surprised at how it can change the tone of the relationship for days to come.

Gift giving is all showing the recipient that your care and that their happiness is important to you. Be sincere, unselfish and trustworthy and they will be glad to call you friend.

You can never realize the value of giving a gift until you have tried it for yourself. Try giving a gift today and see how it makes you feel.

Gracious Gratitude
by Bob Bassett

When someone does something really special for you, what better way to show your appreciation than with a thank you gift basket? People do nice things every day without any reward at all, but a "thank you" gesture is a great way to let them know that you noticed and truly appreciate their help.

At work, a thank you gift basket can let employees know that you noticed their hard work, particularly if they have put in long hours on a difficult project. Not only will they be glad you noticed, but next time around they will be even more motivated to put in extra effort because they know that it is appreciated. It's also a great way to thank coworkers who have gone above and beyond to help you out.

A thank you gift basket can also be appropriate for your mechanic, your child's teacher or coach, your hair stylist, or anyone else who regularly saves the day. Letting people know how much you appreciate them can go a long way toward building lifelong friendships and relationships.

A thank you gift basket is also a great option for people that have helped you out when one of life's little disasters has struck. Next time someone stops and helps you change a flat tire in the rain, returns your missing dog, or helps you get into your house when you have locked your keys inside, get their address and send them a gift basket.

Thank you gift baskets start at around $35 and can be as much as $150. It's easy to choose a size appropriate to the occasion. Also, most online retailers can deliver to almost any location, so it's easy to send a thank you gift basket to the mechanic that fixed your car when it broke down on your out of town vacation.

A little thank you gift basket can go a long way toward building new friendships and strengthening old ones. It's a great feeling to be able to help someone out, and it's also nice to know that help was noticed and appreciated. A thank you gift basket is a great way to acknowledge someone else's gift to you.
